CANINE SEAT BELT FEATURES
Prevents Driver Distraction. According to the National Highway Traffic Administration, driver distraction contributes to 20 to 30 percent of all motor vehicle crashes, about 1.2 million per year. In a recent AAA study, pets and loose objects were rated as being the 3rd worst driver distraction (1st being radio, 2nd being children). With driver distraction being one of the leading causes of accidents, it is crucial to keep your dog retrained while driving a vehicle. Canine seat belts can save lives.
Protect passengers from injury. In a 30 mph collision a 30 lb. dog can exert approximately 900 lbs. of force. This is enough force to cause severe injury, or possibly death to occupants in the vehicle. You can prevent the pet from becoming a dangerous projectile by simply buckling-up! A seat belt for your dog can prevent an injury to you.
Reduces Injury to Pet. Due to testing limitations available today in the market, it is difficult to predict what will happen to a pet in case of an accident. However, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) seat belts are the "most effective means of reducing fatalitites and and serious injuries when traffic crshes occur," "three-quarters of occupants who are ejected from pessenger cars are killed," and "inpatient hospital charges are on average $5,000 higher for non-belted occupants."
Can Be Used as a FRONT HARNESS SeparatelyThe seat belt/harness can actually be used as a very sharp looking front harness separately. You can then leave the seat belt attachment in the car ready for use when you need to put your dog back in the car.
It may be a Law in your State. Many U.S. States, Counties, and Cities are now requiring that animals be retrained in vehicles.

How long will it take to ship my order?
All online and phone orders are shipping within 24 hours. The time in transit depends on the delivery method selected when you placed your order. USPS Priority Mail takes 2 - 3 days, and Next Day Air will arrive the next business day (if order is placed before 4pm PST). Orders that are received after 4pm PST will be shipped the following business day. UPS Ground takes 5 - 10 Business days.
Will the canine seat belt stay on my dog?
Yes. Our canine seat belt is designed to stay on the dog (if you choose). It is simple to put on and to take off. Our canine seat belt can also be used as a front harness.
Is the canine seat belt adjustable in size?
Yes. All four sizes (S, M, L and XL) are adjustable in size.
What colors are available?
You can have any color as long as it is Black.
Will the canine seat belt work in all vehicles?
Yes. Our canine seat belt is guaranteed to work in all passenger vehicles as long as there is a seat belt available.
What is your return policy?
Your canine seat belt may be returned with 14-days of delivery, or may be exchanged for another size. Please refer to our Return Policy for additional details.
Is there a law in my State requiring me to retrain my pet in my vehicle?
